Our goal is to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical strategies for managing life’s challenges.

Located in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Solutions Behavioral Health provides outpatient mental health treatment designed around each person’s individual needs. Through a combination of therapeutic and clinical services, we help adults build a stronger foundation for long-term emotional wellness while receiving care that fits into their daily lives.

Adult Outpatient Mental Health Treatment in Brookfield, Wisconsin

Our outpatient programs provide structured mental health support without requiring clients to step away completely from their responsibilities at home, work, or in their communities. Depending on their needs, individuals may participate in either a Full-Day Treatment Program or a Half-Day Treatment Program.

Both levels of care provide a supportive environment where clients can focus on their mental health, practice new coping strategies, and work toward lasting progress.

Full-Day Treatment Program

Our Full-Day Treatment Program, commonly known as a partial hospitalization program (PHP), provides a higher level of outpatient support for individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges. This structured program allows clients to spend much of the day participating in therapeutic and clinical services while returning home afterward.

Full-Day Treatment can be an appropriate option for individuals who need more comprehensive support than traditional outpatient therapy can provide. Treatment schedules are individualized based on each client’s clinical needs and level of support.

Half-Day Treatment Program

Our Half-Day Treatment Program, commonly known as an intensive outpatient program (IOP), provides structured mental health care while allowing for greater flexibility and independence. Clients participate in treatment for part of the day and can continue applying the skills they learn to situations they encounter in everyday life.

This level of care may be beneficial for individuals who are stepping down from a more intensive program or who need consistent therapeutic support while balancing work, family, school, or other responsibilities.

Aftercare Planning for Continued Mental Health Support

Mental health treatment does not necessarily end when a structured outpatient program is completed. At Solutions Behavioral Health, Aftercare Planning helps clients prepare for the next stage of their recovery and continued emotional wellness.

As individuals transition out of a Full-Day or Half-Day Treatment Program, our team helps identify appropriate resources and develop a plan for maintaining the progress made during treatment. Continued support, healthy routines, and access to appropriate care can all play an important role in helping individuals navigate future challenges.

Our goal is to help clients leave treatment with a clearer understanding of the tools and resources available to support their long-term mental health.

Clinical Mental Health Treatment

Solutions Behavioral Health takes a comprehensive approach to mental health care. Clinical services may include psychiatric support and medication management when appropriate to a client’s individual treatment needs.

Mental health concerns can affect every part of a person’s life, including relationships, work, physical health, and overall quality of life. By combining clinical care with therapeutic support, our team works to address the factors contributing to a client’s symptoms and help create an individualized path forward.

For individuals experiencing both mental health challenges and substance use concerns, integrated care may also help address co-occurring conditions. Treating these concerns together can provide a more complete understanding of a person’s needs and support long-term stability.

Evidence-Based Therapy for Mental Health Challenges

Therapy is an important part of outpatient mental health treatment at Solutions Behavioral Health. Different therapeutic approaches can help clients better understand their experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress and difficult emotions.

Group therapy gives clients the opportunity to connect with others who may be facing similar challenges. Through shared experiences, discussion, and support, participants can practice communication skills, gain different perspectives, and recognize that they are not alone in their struggles.

Our treatment approach may also incorporate trauma-informed care. This approach recognizes the impact that traumatic experiences can have on emotional and mental health and emphasizes safety, trust, and empowerment throughout the treatment process.

How Does Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Help Mental Health?

Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT can help individuals identify patterns of thinking that may contribute to emotional distress and develop healthier, more constructive responses.

Through CBT, clients may learn practical skills for managing stress, challenging negative thought patterns, improving problem-solving abilities, and responding differently to difficult situations.

How Does Dialectical Behavior Therapy Support Emotional Wellness?

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is another evidence-based approach that can help individuals strengthen emotional regulation and coping skills. DBT focuses on helping people better manage intense emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, and remain present during difficult moments.

By learning and practicing these skills, individuals can develop healthier ways of responding to stress and emotional challenges. DBT can be particularly helpful for people who struggle with overwhelming emotions or patterns of behavior that interfere with their daily lives.
